Darling Mother, This is the spot which has been made so famous by that memorable charge of the Australians & New Zealands (ANZACS) on the Sunday 25th April 1915. The photograph was taken soon after the landing and some weeks before I landed there, still I can distinguish where I landed on Saturday 21st August 3:30 am and where I left for the Hospital Ship Friday 17th Sept 1915 11:30 am.
