The letter reads as follows -' Memorandum from District inspector to Chief Inspector; Newport Prov Your Telegram; As to Furniture, H; I have received no communication from the; promoters of the school as to the schoolroom or; furniture being ready. I do not know the names of; the persons who are to provide building or furniture; I suppose the promoters were duly informed as; to the conditions on which the school is to be; established, and requested to [??] when; the school-house, closets, furniture etc are ready; Recommendations; 1. The name of the should should be; "Monavale [sic]", the name of the estate; of which Newport is a portion; 2. the promoters should supply the school; furniture. There are only two desks and two; [??] and a black board of old stock; at Pittwater. The remainder is church; property; 3. A Lease of the school-house should; be obtained.; 4.
