In 1983 the site became Manly Co-educational High at the same time as the nearby Manly Girls High also became co-educational and was renamed Freshwater High. Manly High was granted selective status in 1990 and in 2002 was incorporated into the Northern Beaches Secondary College and given its current name - the Manly Selective Campus of the Northern Beaches Secondary College. Rod Climo, of Dee Why, former pupil compiled information from "The Pines" school magazines of these years kept by him and plans of the school from his career as a heritage architect with the NSW Education Department.
