John Holland's old house, Warringah Road, Frenchs Forest

Record numberLH000840Date1960DescriptionHollands Orchard stood on a 40 acre site that is now occupied by Forest High and the Northern Beaches Hospital. It was originally owned by Henry Green who built this brick cottage in about 1900. Green grew loquats, persimmons, lemons and other fruit trees on his land. The property was transferred to his son-in-law, John Holland in 8 February 1906.
