The history of the church began in the early 1900s, and in 1910, land on the eastern side of Condamine Street was purchased and a weatherboard church erected on the site. On Sunday afternoon, 2 October 1910 the first service was conducted. A new church was later designed by architect N McPherson, and built by Mr S C Molineux of Roseville, with the Opening Ceremonies taking place on 29 October 1932. A centenary service was held in October 2010
