Record numberLH010378Date2008DescriptionPanoramic view over Manly Oval, in Ivanhoe Park, with a view spanning from Queenscliff, Manly, the International College of Management, formerly St Patrick's College, Eastern Hill, North Head, Manly Cove, to Dobroyd Head, captured from near the site of the former Dalley's Castle, or Marinella, Crescent Street, Manly (Heights), and Camera Tower. A soccer match is in progress on Manly Oval, while an attendant mows the sports field. The oval is bounded by Raglan Street, Belgrave Street and Sydney Road. Other landmarks captured in the image include the 1927 Returned Soldiers Memorial Hall on Raglan Street, adjacent to Manly Oval, and 1886 St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, and Manly Uniting Church Tower, centre, right. The panorama was commissioned by the Manly Art Gallery and Museum to match a 1912 panorama from the same vantage point
