Record number65001Date1906DescriptionWilliam Frederick Parker purchased over 150 acres on old Pittwater Road in the 1830s. He named his farm "Brookvale Farm' as it lay in a vale near a brook. Near the corner of what is today William Street and Pittwater Road, Parker built the family home "Meadowbank". Much of the Parker farm is now the site of Warringah Mall.
