Simonds, Doctor J. Nevin, Monsignor W. O'Flynn, Archbishop M. Kelly, Bill McCormack, John Madden, and Architect Mr Hennessy. The Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel, designed by Sheerin and Hennessy, was opened on 18 November 1935, to serve as a chapel building for the students and staff of the college. It was named after a visiting cardinal, who had been the first Apostolic delegate to visit Australia, in 1915
