A Metters, 'Early Kooka' model, with the oven to the right of the cooktop and new kookaburra symbol, circa 1936, can be seen to the right of the image. The 1883 Manly Gasworks, at Little Manly Point, moved its original office to the premises in Sydney Road, Manly, in 1905, which they bought in 1910. The premises served as a showroom and demonstration space.
