Collection SummaryA collection of research papers belonging to Mrs Essie Weston (Nee Oliver), including correspondence, documents, stories, photographs, maps, ephemera, birth death and marriage certificates, newspaper cuttings and realia in relation to the Oliver and Stringer families of Pittwater and their descendants. The Oliver family were early pioneers of Pittwater and lived at "Ventnor" Elvina Bay, built in 1862. William Oliver donated land to the community at Church Point for the building of a school, church and cemetery.
