Kenneth Jones was born at Glebe Point in 1893. He was a ledger-keeper. He enlisted on 1 September 1915, giving as next of kin his mother, Matilda at Birkley Road.

He embarked on the Persic on 18 November 1915, and served with the Army Service Corps. He was promoted to Corporal in April 1916 and Sergeant in February 1917.

He was invalided home with gastric troubles on the Shropshireon 1 April 1919.

He died on 31 October 1951.
