Thomas Reeve was born at Seaforth, UK, in 1892, and was a seaman. He enlisted on 25 August 1915, giving his mother as next of kin, living in Cheshire, England.

He embarked on 17 December 1915 and served with the 3rd Field Artillery Brigade. He returned to Australia on 20 April 1919 on the Boonah. His connection with Manly is unclear.
