Record numberMWPHS 814-9DescriptionPeggy Morris was known as 'Sally' and moved to the Basin at age of 33 after the death of her husband. She was a resident from 1871 until her death on 6/6/1921. Her cottage was rebuilt by yachtsmen over her original hut.(Demolished 1965 or 1968.) Sally was employed as caretaker of 'Beechwood' which is still standing.
