Main
Record numberMWPHS/340-1DescriptionBuild c 1850 for William Howard Rolfe and later leased to William Bede Dalley, the house was purchase by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan in 1881 and used to establish the Star of the Sea Convent. This building was demolished in 1930 and a new school building built on the site. Stella Maris College opened on 4 February 1931 with 33 pupils from kindergarten to intermediate level with Sister Sabina Shinnick as Principal.
