Record numberMV-356Date1947DescriptionThe army commandeered the house and contents for use as their base camp during the construction of a tank trap defence line that continued east beyond the bay. The jetty and pool were demolished by the Army and not reinstated other than a smaller jetty constructed by Mr Douglas on the bank created by the Army.
