Record numberChpt-096Date1964DescriptionKanangra was built by Margaret & Ron Pilgrim in the early 1960s.They had owned the land since the 1950s along with Margaret's parents, Mr and Mrs Grieves. Originally there was a weekender on the land called 'The Shack'. A road was built for electricity connection in the 1960s allowing access to Elvina Bay.
The block had water access only and was surrounded on three sides by Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.
