Narrabeen Lagoon Bridges

CategoryBuilt EnvironmentSummaryBefore there were any bridges across Narrabeen Lagoon it was necessary to ford the lagoon near the present Pittwater Road bridge or sometimes to cross near the entrance to the lagoon. The following extracts give some indication of the history relating to the construction of the two separate bridges.
